Across the globe, various countries are beginning to phase out COVID-19 lockdown measures after over two months of restrictions. While domestic governments understand the need to reopen crucial sectors of the economy, proper social distancing and barrier gestures have never been more important. There is some good news as we head into the summer months… the possibility of going abroad for summer holidays is now being given some serious thought by several European governments.
As a globally-operating charter agency, we are constantly monitoring news from national governments, foreign ministries & tourism boards. This allows us to provide you with the latest travel information and advice. Fortunately, we’re receiving more and more positive updates every day. We, too, can’t wait to get back out on the water again!

Turkey
🌍 Border status: open to travellers.
🌡️ COVID-19 protocol: no quarantine on arrival but incoming travellers will undergo precautionary health checks.
✈️ Flights: International flights being reintroduced on a phased basis. Germany, Austria, Croatia, Greece among others restart by June 15th.
⛵ Yachting: sailing between islands and Turkish coast is authorised.
Croatia
🌍 Border status: open to European Union travellers on presentation of a yacht charter or hotel reservation contract.
🌡️ COVID-19 protocol: no quarantine on arrival and no mandatory testing. In an effort to reduce congestion at border crossings and shorten waiting time, the Croatian government has launched the Enter Croatia website where forms with personal data can be filled out in advance.
✈️ Flights: Croatia Airlines (daily Frankfurt-Zagreb route is operating), EasyJet (July), Ryanair (July), Wizzair and TUI (mid-June), British Airways (July 1st).
⛵ Yachting: no specific conditions but compliance with local health regulations is advised.

Greece
🌍 Border status: reopen on June 15th but not to all travellers.
🌡️ COVID-19 protocol: As part of COVID-19 diagnostic screening, travellers are required to complete a Passenger Locator Form at least 48 hrs before arriving in Greece – you can fill out the form here. Health checks will be carried out upon arrival in Greece.
✈️ Flights: international flights from July 1st (Air France, Volotea..).
⛵ Yachting: authorised since May 25th without any specific regulations but compliance with local health rules is advised.

🌍 Border status: reopen on June 15th for European travellers; no specific date for extra-EU travellers yet.
🌡️ COVID-19 protocol: no quarantine on arrival.
✈️ Flights: Air France, EasyJet, Volotea, Air Corsica…
⛵ Yachting: fully authorised in France (health restrictions may be reintroduced if necessary).

🌍 Border status: reopen on June 3rd for European travellers.
🌡️ COVID-19 protocol: no quarantine on arrival and no mandatory testing.
✈️ Flights: Air France (June 1st); low-cost airlines in talks with the Italian government.
⛵ Yachting: restrictions to be lifted from June 3rd.
Spain
🌍 Border status: As of June 21, Spanish borders are open to European Union and Schengen-area countries (with the exception of Portugal where the restrictions will continue to apply up until 1 July), and travellers from the UK.
🌡️ COVID-19 protocol: No quarantine on arrival.
✈️ Flights: Iberia, Air France, Ryanair, EasyJet and more.
⛵ Yachting: fully authorised in Spain.
