Northern Sardinia

The north of the island of Sardinia is a popular destination for sailors from all over the world; from here you can not just sail along the coast, visit the archipelago of La Maddalena on your boat, but also head to the nearby Corsica, and see the stunning port of Bonifacio. Among the most beautiful northern beaches, we love those near Olbia such as Pittulongu Beach and Porto Istana, but also worth a visit are Marinella, Rena Bianca, Saline Beach and Reef Point. If you head further north to Palau and La Maddalena, we suggest heading in the direction of Isuledda (Porto Pollo), Sciumara, Smooth and Cala English at Porto Rafael. These are just a few, not to be missed of course is also the Costa Smeralda area or sailing along the archipelago of La Maddalena.

East and West Sardinia

If you are in the west of Sardinia, near Oristano, you should definitely visit the Sinai Peninsula, a 4 km long beach, interspersed with rocky parts of sandstone and basalt. Also on our bucket list is Is Arenas, famous for its sand dunes that stretch for about 6 km in the territory of Narberth. If you are in the east, towards Teodoro, you can not miss the beach of Cala Sabina, Bianca beach, and the Marinella beach of Cala Sassari.

Southern Sardinia

Between the beaches of southern Sardinia, we discovered S’Ilixi, a cove hidden among the rocks and Capo Ferrato, accessible only by sea or through trails. The Costa Rei beach or Cala Turn is the perfect hideaway if you need tranquility. Otherwise in the area of Villasimius, Is Molentis, with stunning fine white sands, or Capo Boi and Cagliari are also not to be missed.
