GlobeSailor @ The London Boat Show

The GlobeSailor Team has visited the London Boat Show that took place from 8- 17 January at the Excel Exibition centre. We used this opportunity to understand better the English Charter market, and to meet our British partners and enjoy the Anglo-Saxon culture. Cold wather, but it was definitely nice!

The London show welcomes on average up to 80 000 visitors and is mainly focused on motor boats and yachts, with a significant presence of manufacturers like Princess, Sunseeker and Privilege Marine.

Like the afloat Boat Show in La Rochelle, the British also have their  afloat show in Southampton, which significantly

contributes to the market boost in the south of England with over 1000 boats including many new presentations. We noticed the absence of the  Fountaine Pajot and  Lagoon  brands despite many innovations in this sector.

Meanwhile, the Beneteau has presented their gorgeous Monte Carlo MC4 and MC5. Undeniable comfort and a spacious Fly Bridge with a barbecue that  will make your yacht charter more than pleasant.

With great interest we visited the new Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 349 and

Sun Odyssey 389 owner’s version and  the standard charter version. Very modern, comfortable boats and still  a delight for those who wish to rent a sailboat for a regatta or a flotilla.

We have also met with our boat rental partners, to prepare for the 2016 season and to choose the best boats in the UK, but also in Turkey and the rest of the Mediterranean to offer for charter to our customers.
