Started by GlobeSailor in 2013, the election of the Charter Company of the Year continues to evolve and grow. This year GlobeSailor joined forces with Voile Magazine, the French Nautical Industries Federation, Vents de Mer and the Paris Boat Show. The winning charter companies were announced by Jean Galfione during a special awards ceremony on stage at the boat show.
Following on from the election of the Yacht and Yachtsman of the Year, GlobeSailor stands side by side with the biggest players in the Nautical industry to award the Charter Company of the year. The aim is to promote companies within the sector, encourage environmental awareness, good practices, innovation and to reassure clients who demand the highest standards. More than 800 rental companies were scrutinized by GlobeSailor and the Vents de Mer agency in order to select the winner of each of the 3 categories. The champions were:
Mainland France: Seaways (Côte d’Azur)
French Overseas Territories: Régis Guillemot
Greece: Athenian Yachts

- Services offered at the base
- Marketing and Customer Management
- Previous clients’ opinions
- Sustainable and eco-friendly orientation
